We have selected 4 Vineyards from The Wairau region in Marlborough. The Wairau River travels through the valley depositing limestone and alluvial soil – It is this mineral rich alluvial soil - a mix of clay, sand, silt and gravel that is perfect for growing grapes.

The subtle differences in soil and microclimate between each vineyard creates equally subtle differences in the taste of each wine. A Sauvignon Blanc from a vineyard on the north side of the valley can feature herbaceous characteristics while a central valley sauvignon can have more tropical flavours. The blending of these vineyard components creates a harmony of flavour and length that we strive for.
